Report

WayHey! We're on a roll - 3 wins on the trot make for a very happy side. Look everyone, we even managed a win with Geary and Raj scoring 16 between them! Admittedly we give thanks that Mike Rindel had a migraine, and at 81-5 I went errrm, but we came through, have another 20 points in the bag and somehow find ourselves third in the table. What's going on?

Quotes

"You'd better not score 120 not out now" - JC, to number ten batsmen Steve Proud, after the team withdrew an LBW appeal

"You know, I've never understood why they don't play with a soft ball in this game, it would save all those broken fingers" - Some random bloke walking past the scorebox at Smethwick from the bowling green. I got a dirty look when I couldn't stop giggling at the thought of League cricket being played with a tennis ball, and it provided much amusement for all who heard it. He was deadly serious.
