Report

For once Claire was first to the ground, and won the prize for 'worst for wear' having been on end of term celebrations. Thankfully a delayed start due to the weather and plenty of sweet black tea (thanks to the Sutton Groundsman for excellent hospitality) meant she was fighting fit for the game at hand.

Sadly the same cannot be said of the team who let an excellent start go to waste following some 'agricultural' shots from Raul East (94 in 89 balls). The batting then proved to be worse than the bowling and it was only some lower order swotting from Payne (21 - a third of the score) that leant some espectability to the total. Although, as the total was only 63 that's not really true is it?

Thankfully (fingers crossed) Geary's Australian exile is over this week.
