Personal Predictions

(Runs, Wickets, Dismissals)

More than last year
Favourite Opposition Ground (& why)? Knowle and Dorridge - good wicket, good atmosphere
Best Opposition Teas on the Circuit? I'll never forget Wellington a couple of years ago. Not many wippets in that team!
Best Showers on the Circuit? K&D. Power shower!
Who would you be in 'Stars in the Their Eyes'? Well I wouldn't want to be that Matthew Kelly bloke
If you were in the Big Brother house which Harborne CC member would you take in with you and why? You always need a guitar player, a singer, a story teller, someone with strong opinions, a school teacher leader type - so roll all those into one and you've got Ali Lyttle
What is your favourite Cricketing memory? Scoring my first hundred at the age of 29!
What is your worst Cricketing moment? Hit in the box, in the nets by Pat Hayes's bowling!
Favourites

Eastenders or Coronation Street

  Tendulkar or Lara
Sausage and Mash or Fish and Chips
  Rugby or Football
Who would you most like to talk to at the bar and why?
If you were a Test Player, who would you be and why? Mark Ealham - bats a bit, bowls a bit, catches a bit!
What are your 8 Desert Island Discs, Book and Luxury Item? In the air tonight - Phil Collins
Penny Lane - The Beatles
Wombling Free - The Wombles
Don't Look Back in Anger - Oasis
November Rain - Guns n' Roses
Keep On Loving You - REO Speedwagon
Is This Love - Whitesnake
Write a poem. The players of HCC
are on show for all to see
at the Old Church Road Ground
they perform in the round
the Good, Bad and plain Ugly!

The batting is usually Good,
there's Gear, Moretons, Lloyd and Wood.
They hit the odd four,
the crowd shout for more
but they don't get the runs that they should!

The Bad comes in all shapes and sizes
The legspin of Howel maximises
the chance of the ball
to the slips it may fall
when it's dropped there are no great surprises!

The Ugly is often on view
between grounds in the avenue.
Some of the third men
give marks out of ten
whilst Milne just shouts out 'Would You?!'
