About the Club

Harborne Cricket Club was founded in 1868 and is one of the leading clubs in the Midlands, and being one of the few Birmingham & District League Clubs to be in Birmingham rather than the surrounding area.

Five teams represent the Club at weekends, with the 1st and 2nd XIs playing in the Birmingham and District Premier Cricket League (BDPCL), currently sponsored by Banks's, and in the Warwickshire Sunday League. The Club also has two other league sides playing in the Worcestershire County League on Saturdays and V Sports International Sunday League. 2004 sees the 5th XI play their first season of League Cricket in the Worcestershire County League Division 8 3rd XI Single League.

This website has grown from being a small winter project in 1999/2000 to being quite big. The aim is now to keep it relatively up-to-date, with the occasional new section, such as video clips. All these new sites get to play with the funky new features available, but there's lots here to keep you reading for a while.

If you're after something specific, please try the (currently out of date) Index Page.

Feedback is always welcome (positive or negative as long as it's constructive), and whether you've found us by chance and are just passing through, or are looking for a cricket and social club in the area, enjoy your visit.
